Dr. Michael J. Hockwater is an award-winning educator and author from Buffalo, N.Y. Currently, he works as a visiting assistant professor of literacy at SUNY Cortland. Outside of work, Dr. Hockwater enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife, playful puppy, and the rest of his amazing family and friends. He also enjoys reading, writing, hiking, and cooking.
